This dynamic one-day workshop will focus on the manual handling of people when the situation is "unexpected".

The highlight of the day will be the opportunity to network with colleagues from various areas of health care and manual handling gurus with years of experience in this field.

The Future - Moving Forward

The Association is a multidisciplinary group of healthcare and OHS professions aimed at sharing ideas and prompting continuous improvement in the systems, training, equipment and assistive devices available to safely move and handle people in the health and community services environments. The theme of the 2018 Conference continues to build on these areas and incorporates three pillars:

  • Predictions
  • People
  • Preventions

We have a line up of International and National speakers on subjects of great interest to all of us, from Robotics in nursing to single handled care, legislative compliance on slings, equipment selection compatabilities, and managing risk through building design and ergonomics.
